Powerlifting 31. End of week 15 summary ... not tyred yet!

Monday morning weigh in 89.4kg, Saturday morning weigh in 89.0kg.

This has been a good week. I have decided to focus more on my accessory and conditioning work as well as the three main lifts. Of course, I have been doing these for the duration of my training, but alas, without the same degree of gusto as I am now employing. That is not to say I have not been working hard on these, but now I am really smashing them, as opposed to just smashing them! There is no doubt I am now considerably stronger than I was - I am now knocking out chin ups for 12 reps and wide-grip pull ups for 11 reps, whereas not so long ago I would have been hard-pushed to do a single one! It will not be too long before I need to start doing these with a weighted belt. Narrow-grip bench press (Smith machine) and press-ups are back in (currently for sets of 30) and farmers walks are out. Tractor tyre flips are also in and I am enjoying these.

This weeks work sets were as follows:

Monday: Squats 127.5kg (2,3,3) This should have been five sets ... my mistake on the day. I also need to add a final (higher) single warm up rep in of 125kg.

Tuesday: Bench press 85kg (3,3,3,3,3)

Wednesday: Light deadlifts 80kg (5,5)

Thursday: Squats 127.5kg (3,3,3,2,3)

Friday: Deadlifts 150kg (3,3,3,3,3), light bench press 50kg (5,5)
